This decan is expected to occur on all T- and K-type tables, and it is actually seen on all but the two fragmentary tables K6 and K7. It is therefore one of the best preserved decans.
In T-type tables, the decan usually appears on the diagonal strip beginning (1,11) (two postions to the left of its location in the ideal T table), with a few exceptions: T4 duplicates the decan on both sides of the vertical band in the top row, the poorly-preserved T11 has two instances off the diagonal beginning in (1,9), and T12's diagonal strip starts one cell later than usual in (1,12). It also appears in the list columns of all tables which include them.
On the K-type ideal table, the Hry-ib wiA diagonal strip begins in (5,12). Only K4's strip for this decan starts in the same column. The other tables' strips begin in other columns: K0 and K3 have it one cell early, in the 8-row K5 it runs from (9,8) onwards, in the 10-row K8 it runs from (7,10) onwards, and in the 9-row K10 it runs from (7,9) onwards. K1 and K2 are disordered for all decans, but Hry-ib wiA appears in both.
